I remember like yesterday sitting in class waving
hi smiling to her like nothing else. Then I came
to school heard the tragic news she ended up
dying 2 or 3 days after the tragic accident with
the lake and that seadoo.

Labor Day made for fun someone got to drunk
and ended her life how dumb and now we
have someone that is gone. I remember her
smile the way she laughed her voice when
we spoke running with her in crosscountry
pratices we had a blast.

She was such a great girl it just seems so
unreal I constantly wanna ask why? It like
I walk into the classroom knowing I won't
see her face again knowing how much this
effected alot of people even if they didn't know
her to begin.

I was just lucky I got to know her some. Brings
tears to many of eyes knowing shes gone.
The memories will always last for many years
to come just at 15 though she has to be gone?

Well at least she won't suffer in a coma anymore
at least I know she's with the big man up above.
To me and alot we knew she was an Angel on earth
even if you didn't see her wings she now has the wings
and Halo on her head to prove to us what she was when
she was first born.

She wouldn't want us to cry she would want us
to wipe our tears away and be happy she's in a
better place. No matter what we will all meet her
again in a much happier place.

I give my blessing to her family boyfriend and all may
the rest there hearts be at peace and may
they be blessed.

In loving memory Marissa Armijo you will truly
be missed...

Marissa's Cousin

Thank You for your love for Marissa, she is a beautiful person. Pray for her mom, sister, brother, grandparents, and dad; that they may all learn to cope with this tremendous loss. Thank You

omg!

it always bring tears to our eyes cause we were both soo close to her. i her cousin, amanda, was there when she got hit and died. we took her off the venalator cause she had no brain activity. once her heart finally stopped we were all very emotional. but mi best friend elisa was there for me when i was blue. she always cheered me up. but if she goes i dont know wat i would do. i would probaly die rite there next to her so she didnt have to go to heaven alone.

IN Loving Memory of Marissa Armijo

many will miss her, and there will be sorrow, but we have to stick together, and wait till tomorrow...this is one of many deaths, caused by DUI,in peace may she rest,as tears fall from countless eyes...the only thing we can do is hope and pray, that others dont end up this way....so stop it before it starts, dont drink and drive, then maybe people like marissa would still be alive........

that is the peom that i wrote and got 1st place on it...i loved that girl very much.....i wish i could be there to say goodbye..but i know that she can hear me...i ♥ u marissa......♥ justine

So Sad

I too was at there when this accident happened. I remember like it was yesterday, the whole time praying for this complete stranger I didnt even know, to be ok. It still brings tears to my eyes knowing things turned out the way they did.
anonymous (24.156.26.15) -- Thursday, December 16 2010, 10:27 am

Unbelievable

I still can't believe what happened to Marissa. I wasn't a close friend but I had been in classes with her for 3 years and talked to her often in class. She was a very sweet person and would befriend just about anyone. It still makes me very sad when I think about her. It was really devastating because of who she was and the fact that she was the first person I had ever known to pass away. Five weeks after her death, I had 2 more friends die. I wish I would've taken the time to get to know her more than I did, though I was lucky for having known her as much as I did.
God bless Marissa, we love you!

Beautiful

Something I know, they never leave us. They live in our heart and mind for as long as we live. They come to us in a song, or something that will trigger your mind, and they are there again and again. I really love your poem. Heart wrenching. Beautiful Britney.
