Sweet memories rub against my heart
I will forever have memories of
The sun holdin’ us in his arms
When I think of you and I walkn’ along the beach holdin' hands
the moon as she gently rocks us to sleep
As we lay in the sand
enjoyin' the moments we spend together
the touch of the gentle breeze that caress’s my flesh
As I reach for your hand
the tiny raindrops fallin’ on my bare shoulders
the tears that fall from your eyes, start from mine
my only regret that was mine
was that, i didn't take the time to listen to your heart
until i felt it
when i held you in my arms
by then it was too late,
you were gone
Sweet memories of your love will forever shine
and be a part of me

i plan to get away for the weekend with a good friend and settin' a loved one's ashes free along the beach, don't take life for granted "it is too short" make the time...enjoy what you got... |
