Child Slavery
18 September, 2005
Author: Ben Franklin

vinebar

My mother and father
sold me when I was 3,
to a local gang to groom me into a prostitute
on the streets,
my parents sold me so they could keep a roof over their head
and have something to eat.

They started me of as a drug runner at age seven,
then I was sleeping with middle aged men and women
by the time I was eleven.

I have been kicked and beaten,
and told if I dont do what they say I would be eaten.

Will the rest of the world wake up?
maybe,
please open your eyes and realize
that its 2005 and theres still child
slavery.
