Kept From My Dreams

In silence I weep,
yearning to just be able to sleep.
My heart bleeds,
as I'm denied its needs.

Half of me,
all that I see.
Now that I won't see my sister anymore,
I break I crumble all over this floor.

Few pieces I find,
as along with her love I feel them unbind.
I scour the floor for times that were good,
but they've been outnumbered by me being misunderstood.

So now I crave,
an angel who'll save.
Me from this mess,
unburden me of this stress?

Alone I wait,
in silence I contemplate.
A simple step like walking away,
but it's as if my mind can't comprehend what I say.

In solitude I face,
my demons that hold me in this place.
Tonight as tears flow like streams,
I beg to no longer be KEPT FROM MY DREAMS?!?!?
