Our Love
Author: KitKatrina

A love so strong itís unbreakable,
A life too hard itís understandable,
A word not spoken goes unsaid,
A heart stops & then heís dead,
You wonder when it all seized,
The time you lost goes unseen,
You canít go back into the past,
The time you had didnít last,
His soul will be taken far away,
Though his body, that will stay,
His face, his smile, all missed,
The last time you both kissed,
Every detail of his beautiful face,
Thatís a detail that wonít erase,
The heart of gold he had,
He was a very loving dad,
His eyes so wide and bright,
Like that first star of the night,
His brown nose so big and long,
All these things are now gone,
The memories stay in my heart,
The details are all falling apart,
The memory is losing its touch,
Three years is just too much,
Pictures will always strike a smile,
Though itíll only last for a while,
Videos might make me shed a tear,
Seeing him, being able to hear,
To hear his voice and see his face,
I wish to go back to that place,
I really miss him, but I canít go back,
This was his fate and thatís a fact,
Our love was strong it was unbreakable,
His life was hard and understandable,
The words not spoken went unsaid,
His heart stopped & now heís deadÖ

Kit, this is one of the most touchin' poems i have read in a long time, each tear released was worth the spill. sweetie, i understand where your heart speaks from, my husband would of celebrated his 52nd B.D last month, Miss him like you wouldn't believe..sometimes i too feel like many words were left unsaid , yet i know he still hears every word i say, when i place my hand and my hearst words upon his grave..thank you for sharin' such a sensitive part of yourself, i know it's one cain ever replace them...
