A Moving Day

The winds appeared today.
They came early with a vengeance
through the prettiest blue
sky opening.
Violent protests
from branches blowing insanely,
almost doing full cirles,
and then a calm descended -
an uncanny silence and stillness.

This radical uneveness
parrallels - compliments
the apparent shifts in these rooms-
the shifting tides in my self.

A lone dark bird
swoops over the endless
expanse of bare windows.
Glaring white sky now.
You munch crunchy
peanut butter toast.
Our eyes interlock
for a few seconds.
I can hear the smoke
swirling from the cigarette.

Childrens laughter
is trapped in the walls.
Moments of
a sheer wonder
of my lifes beauty here
lie - float - shimmer
everywhere - invisibly explosive.
Every square inch of space
is full of volumes of vibrancy.
Without doubt
the genuine happyness
of my true radiant self
is embedded deeply
in every groove.
the howling winds-
the crying trees-
the rebellion out side-
becomes strangely comforting.
- such a crazy haunting beauty-
