best friend your leaving
i can fell it in my bones
i can tell by the way you act
i can tell it from over the phone.

i asked you to be at my birthday
and you hesitated.so what did i say.

i can fell you going aswell
dont think i do not know
we've all moved on
found new friends
but i really want to keep the old.

you've stuck with me
when the bad stuff happend
laughed with me
when the good times rolled.

but now i know
this is the end
ill stop crying
when i start to pretend.

sad to hear

It's a shame when we have to move on after a break up with our best friend. It makes you wonder if they were ever our best friends at all. With age, some act different, as if they've never seen you a day in your life... What's the meaning behind the terms they've so often used, "friends for life"... There are other friends who'll only be your friends if you do their homework, lend them a ride, buy them something, and the list goes on and on... I feel sorry for you TJ, not saying that this was how it happened to you, but it's heart-breaking.... Expressive poem! Marvelous!

Hmm, you said "we've all moved on, found new friends". I'm assuming that means you too? If it does, maybe your old friends are feeling the same way that you are now..

The difference? Have you tried speaking to your old friends about how you feel? And how they in turn may feel? That may solve a few things.
