As I Lay Dying

It's over, done with, finally thru
I just can't seem to handle you
I was speechless, only heard sighing
As I lay there slowly dying.

Dying.
Dying.
Slowly dying.

I couldn't eat, or drink, or sleep
All I could do was weep and weep
Vision blurred by tears that I was crying
As I lay there slowly dying.

Dying.
Dying.
Slowly dying.

You got a new girlfriend, found out today
You asked me if I was ok.
I said yes but I was lying
As I lay here slowly dying.

Dying.
Dying.
Slowly dying.
