Little Bird!

Did you send a little bird today?
He sang a song so sweet!
He nodded and looked as if to say,
I was sent ahead to meet!
You are the one! I landed right,
Then jumped and chirped with glee!
I was sent to you from God above,
To give His love to thee!

I wrote this poem one day when my handicapped daughter was on porch watching the little birds and one landed on the fence looked straight at her and sang just this way. She just laughed and seemed to understand what it was singing about! |
