Please, Do Not Tell Me, Not To Cry

If I asked you,
to take me into your arms
Would you hold me real tight?

Would you dry up these tears that I cry?

If I said to you.
Please just hold me!
Would you promise, not to ask me, why I cry?

Would you Hold me, closer to your heart?

Would you promise, not to make me, stop
They help me eliminate pain
They are the tender part of my heart that is still alive

They do me no good, holdin’ them so far and deep inside

You see, they are all I have left to give
They are all I cain share, as long as I live
All I ask is please, allow them to pour out

Please wrap me in your arms
taste these tears that i waste

Tears

Heartfelt tears shed in sorrow or joy are never wasted. I can relate to this.....
