The Story Of My Life - Home -3
Author: Mike

vinebar

Been doing it for ages,
But you didn't care.
You ignored it until
He found it there.

The glass in the cupboard
With the visible stains.
The evidence, the proof
Of my suffering, my pain.

You called me in,
Showed me the glass.
I couldn't look at you,
I just stared past..

You made me ashamed
With your shouts and your screams.
I'd done nothing wrong,
Just made the pain leave.

But you couldn't understand,
Or just didn't want to.
You were blind to all of
The shit I've been through.

Two months on,
You still search my room.
No place is safe,
Just a desecrated tomb.

Instead of sharp objects,
You find poems and drawings.
I draw my pain now,
Though there's the occasional cutting.

But still you don't see,
I just store my tears.
The space is filling fast,
Just a couple more years..

Because there's no escape,
It lives within,
Until such a time
I decide to stop living.

mike, again fab poem, the last line scares me, you need to stay alive because there are so many people who love you and need you around so dont you dare even try,i cant tell you to stop cutting as i understand it takes away the pain, but if you ever go to far you will not only be destroying your life but all the people that love you to.

Taylor, sometimes you need to stop thinking about others and only think about yourself.. A bit harsh, but I'm always thinking of everyone else.. But then, what about me? What about what I want?

what i said top you you said to me,and im only giving you the same message you gave to me.and i know that you need to think about yourself and stop thinking about what others want from you and i agree but not at the cost of your life.you need to get away from there as soon as you can that would be a more appropiate way.

I read both 2 & 3 and I'll comment for both on this one. I really liked the first one, like the style of it. And I also like this one, you can feel the emotion behind every word. Both of these remind me of confessions, thats probably why they've interested me so much. Keep it up. xD

Mike, "Until such a time I decide to stop living"
I don't like that life =( i've never liked that line whenever you say it cause it makes me sad, but, i guess it's your life, you can do whatever you want with it, I'll support you except on that case. On that case, I will be with you. But I wouldnt agree with it and I'll cry you an ocean
