Tender Pearls
10 November, 2005

vinebar

its cold.. the air
outside my window
an unmoving stare
the moon glares
down my face
thoughts all in a row
in silence my heart speaks
solace by itself it seeks
like high tides
the emotions ride
welling tears
moisten the eyes
like the sea in strong winds
heart races
it braces
to feel
this moment
saving the tears
in silken kerchief
like precious pearls
lest they fall
and shatter
each drop matters
the night is spent
saving tender memories
of you
and..me..
