I'm None Of The Above

It’s ok for you to smile
It’s ok for you to scream
It’s ok for you to wish
But for me that’s just a dream
I make a wish
Hoping to come true
But every time I go to wish
I always think of you
So I get angry
I get twisted inside
My insides raveled up
And wishing to die
So I start to scream
I start to shake
I start to cry
This isn’t fake
So here I am
In pain so intense
I sit in darkness
The shadows are too dense
It’s ok for you to be beautiful
It’s ok for you to have love
It’s ok for you to be perfect
But here I’m left unloved
So I look in the mirror
And then I close my eyes
Wishing to be perfect
Facing all the lies
I’m not perfect
I’m not you
I wish I could be
But what could I do
I’m not pretty
I’m not loved
I’m not perfect
I’m none of the above

Brilliant.

I love this. It's so true. Its just how I feel when I get upset. Keep it up, your poems are wicked.
