I Can't Stand This.

Couldn’t help but notice
You’ll see them more now.
I remember all the things
I knew you did then.

You always reminded me.

So now the roles have swapped
You’re happy about it it seems.
But you don’t seem to know
How serious this feels.

Lets just keep pretending.

Selfish but it’s true
I preferred you alone.
So I’ll smile for you again
And tell you it’s fine.

Don’t let me get in your way.

I wish sometimes this didn’t hurt
I wish you werent who you are.
You can see through me,
Like I see through you.

I can’t help but feel like this.

Everytime you go
I get this feeling of uncertainty
And it never fails to remind me
Of the things I fear the most.

I know you can do things,
That I can’t.

You will be the death of me.
