Becoming This
26 November, 2005

The girl i once knew who was quiet and small is now gone.
becoming this
tall and slender.
dreams are thrown away.
remembering always.
wanting to be known
becoming this addict.
throwing away the dreams she once knew
throwing away dreams of being talented.
the scars are too much.
becoming this
monster
becoming this bully
becoming this outcast
this girl who once used to be lively and attention hogging
is now longing for the attention she once had.
becoming this loner.
it's too late.
everyone talks.
too much...
becoming this..
broken child...
once this lovely girl.
now broken
by her peers
they are too much
leave me alone
she cries out
broken
i'm broken already
havent you broken me enough
becoming this broken thing
like a toy thrown in the corner
not wanted by one child
but a treasure to another
who's treasure is she?
