Depression
1 December, 2005
Author: Tammy
You eat away at my mind
little by little
Until I become frozen like
the waters on a cold winters day.
You lurk behind the corners
of my thoughts seeking to destroy me.
My hair has became threadlike
falling through my edgy fingers.
And my once shimmering
body is fading quickly.
These eyes of mine have sunk back
inside my head diffused, and weak.
The look of death shows on my face.
If the world could see my
insides, they would find nothing.
For you have already devoured most of me.
I am just waiting for your
return to take what's left.
