Still resides inside my head,
Seeing your beautiful face,
But knowing that you’re dead,
I’ve dreamt so many times,
That I got to say goodbye to you,
In reality I did not say goodbye,
And now I’m lost without you,
One glimpse of your face,
Will make all my pain go away,
One word from your sweet lips,
Will make the memory forever stay,
Give me something to hold on to,
I need you but I don’t have that choice,
Let me hear your beautiful songs,
Sang with such a soft sincere voice,
Let it be known that you loved me,
That I meant the world to you,
You meant everything to me,
I just hope I meant that much too…

I must admit..........
this nearly made me cry as well. Few poems are there that call capture such true emotion. Fewer still are the poems that can bring me to tears. This poem is beautiful, perfect in what it conveys, this will forever be one of my favorite poems, Thank you for sharing. Wonderful poem indeed.
