Where There Was Life, There's Nothing At All
14 December, 2005
Author: The Lost Girl

Hope was lost as she hit the floor,
because her life, now was no more.
She came to you and asked for help,
but you didn't understand, so you turned and left.
As soon as you did, her mind was made,
and as soon as you did, you chose her fate.
She went home and cried, feeling so alone,
because you wouldn't listen, your heart cold stone.

She took out a blade and began to cut,
as lights began to fade and pain didn't hurt.
She wrote you a letter, stained in red tears,
as she explained her love, her hope, and her fears.
Why didn't you listen or spare some time,
even though she was different- you were her life-line.

Now where there was life, there's nothing at all,
Your pride was so high, you caused her to fall.
