Feelings ran free from my heart today,
The love, hate, anguish, and dismay,
The bitterness slowly washed itself out,
I loved today without feeling the doubt,
I cried a tear of happiness for my dad,
On an off day I would cry to be sad,
I haven’t grown as a person in a while,
I grew today by putting on a real smile,
I lived for once without feeling guilt,
I am living the life that I, myself, built,
I give to those that have nothing more,
And now understanding what I gave for,
My life is just now beginning to unfold,
I have no clue what my future may hold,
All I can say is that I feel brand new,
I’ve discovered myself all the way through,
I’m learning to grow up and how to move on,
I realize that some things are forever gone,
I won’t hide anymore or live in the passed,
I’ll grow as a person but try not to too fast,
I’ve discovered who I am and want to be,
I am everything I wanted because I am ME!
