Christmas To The Masses
23 December, 2005

Sweets and biscuits and cute little cakes,
In their rooms old fat men watch and masturbate.
Turkeys and puddings and presents galore,
In the dark winter streets walk hundreds of whores.

In their houses people glow with warmth,
While streetkids shiver in their cold damp haunts.
Everywhere people unwrap pretty gifts
While beggars on lonely doorsteps sit.

Puppies and birds and cute little cats,
Why am I surrounded with dirty white rats?
Baubles and lights and tinsel on trees,
Why can't anyone see the Christmas I see?

Death and destruction and eternal pain,
Will I ever enjoy this holiday again?

------- Author's Notes -------

Call me Scrooge or whatever, but hey. I'm not saying I hate Christmas, because I don't. I just hate that so many people out there suffer at this time of year each year, needlessly..

...

I know, i was watching the fabulous life of the rich or something, and they had a tea bag worth £7000, and I was thinking, right, with all that money we coulda saved the most of africa, and there was something else that was like £7 000 000 and that woulda saved everyone. but no, celebrities spend it on worthless things. Us too.. we waste so much.
