The Fallen Angel

I have been sent by my father of the heavens
To be conceived on this place of suffering
To whitness life as a man
I am a messanger among my lord

I see all this selfless corruption while I sit amongst clouds
The clouds seem so clear & pure of the evil below them
As my crysal tears create a heavenly mist among the earth
I can only hope it will wash the evil along with the hatred

I see all the corruption & evil among the youth
Brainwashed by rock & rap
They are blind to the good within them
Waiting for their day of judgement to come

I've tried so hard not to succumb to the darkness
But I give so much to receive nothing
I've searched for you'r grace my lord
But it couldn't be found

While I wait for my calling in this life
I pray to my heavenly father for protection
But all I receive are demons
They haunt my dreams

Is this you're doing father?
Have I been cursed? Stripped of grace?
Why?
Why have you treated me so...Father?

My wings have been clipped
My halo has dissipated, turned to twisted hatred
I have become a grotesque figure among the angels
I turn from my fellow angels as they discrace me

As I walk across the star-laden sky
Lonely & Cold I fear the harsh reality
I've become an angels worst fear
I am a Devil

I feel nothing now but hate
All my thoughts have gone dark
I have become my enemy
Devils don't cry, they will feel my hatred...
