Although I didn't have you a long time
I was attached
You would come running when I came
through the door
jumping on my lap and
licking my face
Laying beside me
is where you belong
You always put a smile on my
face when I was down
You would always listen with
no grudge
Wag your little tail and turn your
butt sideways
when I asked you to go bye-bye
in the car
You kept me warm at night
and you always by my side
Until Dec. 19 2005
you took sick
with an autoimmune disease
at the age of 1 1/2
I couldn't bare to see you suffer
so I held you tight
and told you how much
I love you and will miss you
Fly high mommy's baby
there is no more suffering
You are the best dog that anyone
could ever have

Nice poem Lori about your dog. I am touched by this because of how much we love our dogs. To hold your dog so tight to end his suffering. Wow, that is love. A hard one to do. Thanks for sharing your poem Lori.---Kobi! Kobi! Komo here!
