Lonely thoughts in my head
while i'm sitting on my bed
i think of you while tears run down my face
wishing you weren't in a far away place
Christmas is gone and you weren't here
no one to tell me they miss their dear
i miss you so much it's sad
loving you true because you are my dad
i can't wait you'll be home soon
in my arms looking at the moon
you'll be here and i'll be happy
i wrote this poem for you i know it's sappy
soon you will be here and it's so great
i'm so excited i just cant wait!
