I Love, The Scent Of The Rain

I love the scent of the rain, before the lightning strikes
I love to see the clouds come together and grow dark
I love the scent of the rain, before lightening strikes
I love the fresh breeze that touches my soul

The rain comes down in such a soft way
Like mist in a forest yet, I'm city bound
Towers of affluence surround me, yet, all love the rain
The scent of what will be overcomes me, I love the rain

Children play in the streets as the rain with lips of love
Kiss them, as they play, I love the scent of rain
I love the feel of fresh water on my soul and my heart
I love the way the rain, gives peace to my heart and soul

I Love, The Scent Of The Rain

So do I

Rain smells like sweet, morning dew....I'm not gonna lie and say it smells similar to honeysuckle (hhahhahha). But I enjoyed your poem Mr. MV. Very visual!

Martin,

I just had to read the title, and I knew I will enjoy reading this poem. And I was not disappointed. Your words remind me of the times which I have forgotten, which shouldn’t be. Bee-u-ti-ful!!!

Tears Are Never Forgotten,When Shed, by Angel Eyes

Angel In Tears, Sometimes, a soft rain seems to slow the soul and take its heart back to the memories, when like, fresh rain, love was real and true. I love your soul and how you shared, the fresh, rain with me. Thank You Angel In Tears. The Sun is on its way to your heart just as warm, and as fresh rain.
