Normal, That I Can't Be
9 January, 2006

You want me to be normal
that I can't be.
How can I be normal with
this monster inside of me?

You want me to stop crying
wipe away my tears.
How can I wipe them away
when I am so full of fear?

You want me to forget my past
move on with my life.
How can I do that when I am
battling so much strife?

You want me to start anew
and I am really trying.
Though you don't understand
inside i'm still dying.

Wow, that is what it feels like when you can't make someone understand how it hurts.
