Her Heart, Forgave The Demon's Eyes

As she lays asleep, dreaming what young girls dream
She feels the touch of Demon Eyes, all over her
No cry is loud enough, to save her from the demon's eyes
Still, she cries after all these years, the pain is still there

Marriage, children and a home she deserves, she has it all
A husband who has only shared with her, the love in his eyes
Still, after all these years, a shadow covers her heart, and she cries
Tonight, she cries to me, spoke of the demon's eyes, can't forget it

I hold her in my arms, she speaks to me like a confession of her soul
She has held the demon's eyes in her soul for so long, now she shares her soul
With me, as I hold her in my heart, my arms seem to fly in the wind, Oh, God
How many women, have shared such a soul with a heart, that holds so, close

She cries, at the end, she met the demon's eyes and forgave them of their sin
Before they closed forever, and faced the judgement day, she shared the pain
That had for years been a quiet shadow upon her heart, she shared with me
Now, the scars of that night bring our hearts so close, there is no pain

Her Heart, Forgave The Demon's Eyes

May His Eyes, Rest In Peace
