The Screams Within.

You wish you knew what I held locked deep within my mind,
Things I’ve pushed far back, things you’ll never find.
I have many locked doors where I’ve thrown away the key,
Secrets to make your heart explode, like the screams inside of me.
Little pictures in my head, some blurred but some a little more clear,
They wish for me to never forget, they’ve caused my biggest fears.
They’ve taught me to always lock my inner feelings away,
For I’m forced to believe that nobody will care for what I have to say.
Once I sleep, I relive these experiences that constantly wail to be free,
I will never break down, I will never cry.. you will never fully destroy me.
Consequently, everyday I’ll grow deaf to the whispers I always used to hear,
I will never hide myself for you, so my smile will always appear.
You always knew I was a good liar..
But you will never know this.

Hmm, dunno if it's really about me. Could be exaggerating a little, but don't they all?

Rawr.. I absolutely ADORE this poem, Emma. Amazingly written, even if you think it was exaggerated.
