For Old Times Sake
16 January, 2006
Author: Taylor James

vinebar

i'll take one last pill
for old times sake,
soon i'll be free
but my body they'll have to take.

slit my wrists one last time
so my soul will be mine.

find a way to say goodbye
without making people cry

i'll fly through air
swim through seas
ill finally find the courage inside of me
to do what i've always dreamed
to get away from the pain i hide.

Say goodbye without making anyone cry? Right.. I've known you for close to six years now. I know practically everything about you, and you know most things about me. If anything ever happened to you, I'd manage to drown the whole of England with my bloody tears. Be careful, and stay strong. Love Mike

Wow

This is an incredible poem Taylor. I've felt the same way all too many times, and you express your feelings perfectly. I never thought such a short poem could be so powerful and meaningful. keep up the great work.
