I believe in a divine presence
But you canít cuddle up to the omnipotent
I believe there is a master plan
Only wish I had a copy of the blueprints
I believe you are the beginning and the end
So far Iím stuck somewhere in the middle
I believe in the power of prayer
Dare I ask? I may not agree with the answer
I believe your timing is in my best interests
Yet I wish youíd speed things up a bit
I believe I was created in your image
Forever assuming the role of the outcast

With an open heart, the eyes see so clear,
With an open heart, the soul is a breath of fresh air,
This road you'll travel and change alone the way.

God and I'll work it out. Part of the journey.
