Brothers

In times of trouble we’ve been so close,
We all grew up in the same house,
Kids back then changing each day,
Never knew at times; we loved each other anyway,
It’s been so long since we three have touched,
It’s been so long since we went to a pub,

Our life did change and all married on,
Separate lives but still the same,
I like you moved far away,
More than a drive you’ll need a plane,
One day soon we’ll meet again,

We’ll reminisce about times since passed,
One will tell his story remembered,
Two will say; don’t remember it that way,
Until we touch in our own special way,
I’ll tell you both I love you dear.

Schweet

I remember looking at the photo of you three after going down the member list of poets in Dreamer's forum. I found your name and saw the three of you standing together. I think you all were smiling, because you must've taken that picture off....hahaaha.... But that's sweet when family members can get along so well with each other.

Beautiful poem Clive!
