Author: Vampyr Tears
I tell myself Iím over you,
Because sooner or later,
Iíll have to believe itís true.
I wonít remember how your hands felt,
Cool against my skin,
Placed lightly on my hips.
Iíve already forgotten your touch.
I wonít remember your pale, soft lips
Murmuring hushes words of unconditional love.
Iíve already forgotten your kiss.
I wonít remember those ice blue eyes,
How they could peer into my soul.
I could get lost in your gaze.
Iíve already forgotten your stare.
Iím over you.
Iíve moved on.
In fact, I canít even recall who you are.
(Oh, how I hate lying to myself.)
