Winter's Homecoming
15 February, 2006

January’s back again.
September came,
A thought of no end.

But it is back,
The cold and the clear
Air in lungs
And crystal tears.

It is back,
The bite on the nose.
The warmth you get,
From the candle glow.

The twilight is just right,
With a hint of blue.
Once was one flake,
Now is two.

This feeling is right,
For this time of year.
Not the warmth and the sun,
That which i fear.
