A Feeling Lost, But Not Forgotten

Give it all up!
You have no chance now.
Never did,
Not since you f***ed up.
You had your time to shine,
Now your mine.
Do what i say,
Or you will dread this day.
It’s me, the voice in your head
The one you thought was dead.
The voice that left as did your soul.
So you thought you could lock me up,
In paper with a pen.
But i only came back,
Even though she’s gone.
With the safe that holds your heart.
You want it back, don’t you?
Gone forever it may seem
Search deep inside of you and you will see,
The words are in here with me.
The weren’t from any of the gods,
Nor from any other being.
They came from your mind,
Brought upon by your heart,
And the pain and loss.
And all your memories,
Influences from experience.
Living life the way you should.
You tried to block it all out,
But you boarded it up within,
And it grew,
The Temptation.
It wants out,
You’ve felt it.
You need an outlet for your pain,
Your words will live again,
Through the air or through the pen.
Find a muse and begin.
Let your soul bleed out,
You need to just explode.
Don’t hold back,
She will come back,
But in another form.
To guide you to true happiness.
Let her be just a word,
Draw power from it,
And live life again.
You’ll find yourself my friend.
