Wondering

I wonder what you’re thinking
As you go upon your merry way
The consequences of your actions
Will affect you one frosty December day

Out of touch with reality
Playing with a life that is not your own
Bringing one more child into a house, not a home

I wonder what you’re thinking
Will you love and guide this precious little life
When you have chosen to live
With the creator of chaos, pain and strife

Living in a dream world
Bound to become a nightmare
You dismiss all reason without a care

I wonder what you’re thinking
As you plan the days ahead
Denying an ever present
Underlying sense of dread

A few short months from now
As you gaze upon this little one’s face
I certainly hope the seed-bearer
Doesn’t disappear without a trace

Or worse yet stay behind
And make your life a living hell
Adding more chapters to your book of life
Such a sad story you will have to tell

He deserves worse

It is true a house not a home. I wish you the best of luck with that one.
