I'm Finding The Glow

True love comes straight from the heart,
At least that's what poets say.
What about a loving friendship?
Could it also turn out that way?

A little inspiration here and there,
Just lots of casual conversations.
Then as time goes by so fast,
A change in these relations.

You begin to feel something,
In a very mysterious way.
Now this can't be love, you tell yourself,
No matter what the poets say.

The friend you have is loving and caring.
You need him more and more each day.
You miss him so when he's not around,
More than words can say.

Sometimes true love can't be recognized.
I'm finding the glow in my heart,
Is becoming a much stronger fire.
A fire I don't ever want to depart.
