Some say love it's like a fire
it burns you to the bone.
Some say love it is a heartache
and turns your heart to stone.
I say love it's like a flower
it's rooted deep within.
And I say love it is a journey
you must travel til the end.
Some say love it's like a dream
it never seems to last.
Some say love it's only a hunger
once fed it leaves you fast.
But I say love it's like a ocean
so wide, and very deep.
And I say love it's like a song
the ending sometimes makes you weep.
