But every corner turned I am denied.
When we are together,
Things are wonderful
When we are apart
She is all that fills your heart.
A promise broken again
When will I learn oh when
Please let this pain end.
Either her or me
You must chose
And it should be soon.
Love me like I need
Or set me free.
Friends we can no longer be.
I must cut all ties
Because of the lies
I love you but I can’t handle the pain
I can’t go through it again.

I can certainly relate to inviting pain into my life again and again. Sometimes it takes awhile before we learn the lessons we need to in this life. Be kind to yourself.
