Tapestry Of Life
25 April, 2006

Shades of vibrant colors
Yellow, green, red and blue
Interlaced with majesty
A purple cord runs through
Yellows and reds, an exciting display
Of a life filled with passion in so many ways
Shades of green and blue
Composition of calmness
Created in her humble abode
Colorful expressions of a love often shown
Scattered with a few strands of grey
Remnants of sadness felt from time to time
Some fibers they did fray, along the way
Others completely unraveled
On rough roads traveled
Lavender threads then interspersed with grey
Expressions of wisdom woven throughout the years
Evidence of triumph
Over tragedy and tears
Substance fashioned by loving hands
Constructing a tapestry
Of a life well lived
A lasting keepsake of all she had to give

What a beautiful tribute

Caty, honey, your words are a gift in and of themselves. This is so touching. Someday, I hope you get published, so many more people can experience the sheer loveliness of your poetry.

Splendid ..

You have a way of creating delightful scenery that is wholesome and natural. Life is celebrated in your odes , fit for the Gods. Carry On, Catyrose.
