Burden Baby

Crying all night,
My daughters 8 months you see,
sounds sick,
but I feel she is a burden on me.

I gave my boyfriend my hand,
and my heart was in it,
but apparently he just wanted what was in my trousers,
that was a prize,
and he wanted to win it.

I got pregnant at seventeen,
I thought he would be over the moon,
and him getting on one knee and asking for my
hand in marriage would happen anytime soon.

I told him and he ran a mile
claiming he wouldnt be able to cope,
last thing I heard he was claiming doll money,
living in squalor
and smoking dope.

My parents are not around,
so it's just me raising our baby,
and Like I said all she keeps doing is crying Lately.

Voices in my head are telling me to end it all,
voices you ask?
yes voices,
I've heard 'em,
"Kill her Stacey,
your baby is only going to be a
burden".
