Kiss
2 May, 2006

vinebar

Though summer's coat of green
is kissed by morning's dew,

Lovers in the grass
are somewhere kissing too.

And though the setting sun
kisses the distant sea,

What matter all these things
If I do not kiss thee?

------- Author's Notes -------

It would seem that there's a lot of kissing going on, but so far, you and I don't seem to be included, so lets give it a go.

By the way Bipedalguy means a guy with two feet. That includes about half of us.

I'm assuming

the X was in the middle, and from experience, I already know you've won. What do you want for a prize? (Thanks for the hug back)

Thanks for your kind comments. I'm glad I made you smile. This poem was one of my first posts from way back. I can't help wondering how you found it.

Thanks again, Barb

Glad you liked this one which I wrote some time ago. Even though I have 2 feet (which is good), I must not be very hard to resist. (I don't scare babies, which is a good thing, but I don't seem to scare ladies, and that may not be a good thing) A woman once told me that I don't project any sense of danger. I guess that's a quality that promotes romance. Life is such a mystery.
