The Never Ending Rains
22 May, 2006

It's been raining for
over two weeks.
Every moment -
another brush stroke
in the skys.

Pale clouds
change to charcoal grey.

Tiny baby blue
pockets of sky
peek through-
then
billowing white clouds
sweep by....

Gorgeous - Threatening

The clock ticks.
There is softness in the air.
For the moment,
I am satisfied.
I send calm to my self.
My inner being cries for peace

The ever morphing clouds
float in two directions.
I am being pulled
apart.
I am slowly climbing to the
direction of
the calmness I deserve.

Your heavy magnet
pushes away
my happyness-
sparks anger.

Be here now.
Work on a plan.
Be mindful.
Escape from this heaviness.

The rains will stop.
Your magnet will be discharged.

Darkening thunder clouds pass by...
