More Than A Friend?

When I stared into your eyes I was paralyzed
So much so that I could barely think to breath
Now when I touch your hand it feels so cold,
And those eyes I once stared into I begin to loath.

Where were you when I started crying?
Where were you as I layed dying?
Where were you when the searing pain began?
Where were you? I thought you were more than a friend.

When we were together I thought it would always last,
but you proved me wrong, it went so fast.
Now that I think about it you were never there,
and I wonder if you even started to care.

Where were you when I started crying?
Where were you as I layed dying?
Where were you when the searing pain began?
Where were you? I thought you were more than a friend.
