I Hurt Too

It’s Perfect, Right? Wrong.
I see beauty, I hear pain.
I live pain. It’s become my silent song.
I look happy, because I’m a good actress.
I see beauty, I hear pain.
Stop! Come any closer and I’ll scream, I’ll shriek!
I look happy, because I’m a good actress.
Because then you’ll see through my illusion
Stop! Come any closer and I’ll scream, I’ll shriek!
You’ll expose me. You’ll rip my seams.
Because then you’ll see through my illusion.
But it wouldn’t be the first time.
You’ll expose me. You’ll rip my seams.
I’ve been torn to shreds before.
But it wouldn’t be the first time.
Don’t ever cry. Not for me. I’m not worth your tears.
I’ve been torn to shreds before.
Don’t lie. I can’t depend on you. Don’t pretend you care.
Don’t ever cry. Not for me. I’m not worth your tears.
Faking fearlessness. Feeling fearful. Facing fear.
Don’t lie. I can’t depend on you. Don’t pretend you care.
My Never-Ending Hellish Nightmare.
Faking fearlessness. Feeling fearful. Facing fear.
I won’t cry. Not ever. I’m fragile, but far too proud.
My Never-Ending Hellish Nightmare.
Icy. Alone. Strong. Beautiful.
I won’t cry. Not ever. I’m fragile, but far too proud.
Vulnerable. Afraid. Separate from the crowd.
Icy. Alone. Strong. Beautiful.
Stop. Don’t go. Don’t leave me. Please!
Vulnerable. Afraid. Separate from the crowd.
I Hurt Too.
