He waits, lonely upon the hill, to take you
to your life.
His sadness is the gathering of mans
hatred.
Do not steer away from Him, but instead,
toward His healing light, and His loving
arms.

this is probably the only religious thing i've ever written...it came to me as i was drawing a picture for a tattoo

Nice poem. Some poems can edify others as if you're talking to them even though you are unaware of how much of an effect your poem had on them....and the poet's submission is sometimes right on time, when someone is undergoing a desolate point in their life. In so many words, it's like you wrote this for me. I needed this poem. Thanks for writing it Daniel.
