No One Is Perfect

You ever heard that ole saying
"what comes around, goes around"
You think your flying high
til your face hits the ground.

I think that sayings true,
because I have paid my dues.
I've made many mistakes
but I think we all do.

Life can be a tangled web
we get ourselves entwined.
We find ourselves doing things
stealing, cheating, lying.

Not one of us are perfect
it's not meant for us to be.
We all do mess up
and on that we can agree.

If I could make things right
I would, and so would you.
But that is impossible
for any of us to do.

All we can do is keep going
and learn from our mistakes.
Trying to do better
each morning we awake.

No offense taken

It's important to remember to be gentle to ourselves, and recognize that the greatest lessons learned are from our mistakes. God knows, I have made volumes of them. Great poem again, Tammy.
