I never got to know you
but I was your baby girl.
I should have been your everything
I should have been your world.

I should have been your shining star
and your setting sun.
I should have been your everything
I should have been your number 1.

No I never got to know you
You never heard me cry.
You walked out of my life
never saying goodbye.

You never held me close
I never sat upon your knee.
I don't know you daddy, and
I guess you don't remember me.

I should of been your everything
I was your baby girl.
I should have been your life
I should have been your world.

(Daddy, I should have been your everything)
