Bracelet & Hair Pin

5 months and your bracelet is still on the bedside table
Along with your hair pin that you must of dropped in the shower,
I tried stopping you from leaving me but im not a superhero with
Amazing mind changing powers,

After a night of making so called love
You woke me to tell me that you had had enough,
You were off to follow your heart
And I could not change you mind.

Well maybe I could come with you?

Sorry my love, I will have to leave you behind.

Seemed like I cried for a age
When we parted at the front door,
You put your finger to my lips and spoke..

You, I will always Love and adore,
But you deserve better then me,
So please dont waste your tears anymore.

She walked away those 5 months ago with my heart,
But Ive now thrown the bracelet and hair pin out of the window
As its time for me to make a brand new start.

heart breaking

Hey B! Good poem Franklin! I hope this was fiction, unless it was the person whom you wrote about when you commented on my poem, "Never Been".
Once again, Good poem B.
