Black Black Rose
24 July, 2006

Deep in the woods beyond the old oak tree
lies a rose as black as can be.
as i sit in front of the rose,
i see flames burning,
perhaps a sign of satan returning.
it seems like hell on earth,
it seems like satans rebirth.
i look deeper onto the flame
and i see a face,
a face dripping tears of acid,
screaming in pain of her broken heart.
so there she lies,
deep in the dark,
her body may be gone,
but her spirit will live on.
i stand up slowly,
lost in deep thought
and walk away
back into the dark.
