White Rose

The white rose
Is mysterious
It feels
So soft
So delicate
So blissful
The rain comes down
Drips off
The petals
So
Peacefully
Making life look
So fragile
So peaceful
So
Perfect
If only
We
Could see
What life
Contains
Maybe
It wouldn't be
So horrible
After all

------- Author's Notes -------

Believe it or not tonight was the first time i actually sat down and wrote a poem. My teachers have always admired me in the past for my writing skills. so tonight the first time in a long time I decided to use them.
What happened was...my mother got me upset. and instead of just raging with anger. like I always do. for the first time I did something that I never allowed myself to do before. My heart always told me to write instead of keeping it in but I didn't listen because I was so afraid of facing the Truth...aren't we all? lol.
It was the best thing I've done in a long time and now I literally just can't stop writing the poems and they make me feel so much better. So now i think I will definitely make this a hobby of mine.

I'm not sure if you really care about all that I've said lol. but I figured I'd share them anyway!

Keep writing, Kayla

Loved the poem, loved the story behind it. Thanks for sharing your talent. You just might surprise yourself with the gift you have to create something from the feelings you put into words.
