Home Sweet Home

Their really is no place like home.
I found that to be very true.
Away for 14 years brought only a sence of not really belonging
and missing familiar faces of family, friends and church.
Getting lost in the big city and crying out "I want to go back
home!" was my only desire and wish.
A wish that finally came true for my best Christmas present ever!
No more getting lost for me, people I know acknowledge my existence while taking my daily walks in this beautiful
Colonial collage town.
Past origainal log cabins and Underground Railroad Hiding places in old homes of the early 1800'rds.
It's like going back in time, or maybe walking in a place where time stands still. All situated between two historical "S"
bridges. Home of Muskingum Collage, on the Old National Trail Road Rt.40, the first blazed trail through Ohio. Surrounded by the Amish and Quaker societies.
Home of Senator John Glenn. His motto is "IF You Come From
Here You Can Go Anywhere!" The first American astronaut to orbit the earth, He proved that motto to be true.
But even he comes back home often.
Author and actors Zane Grey, Agnus Moorehead, Hop-Along Cassidy, Annie Oakley to name a few also haled close to this little town I call "Home Sweet Home."
